Most of the wood is harvested from our 1800 acre family farm in Snow Hill, Maryland and surrounding areas. Most exotics are purchased from North Carolina mills to support lumber companies in the USA. The Johnson Family Farm has been maintained in the same family and as a working agricultural farm for over a century and as such been designated by the State of Maryland as a "Century Farm."
We are proud that all of our materials are made in America and is entirely created by hand! We harvest the trees, mill the wood, air dry it to create the beautiful grain texture that is lost in kiln dried lumber and create your one of a kind piece of art.
Darren Casto, the owner of Century Farm Woodworking is a master craftsman who makes custom rustic style furniture, and accessories. Each piece is handcrafted and uniquely designed to your specifications. Anything you can dream, we can create using exotic wood grains, customizing the project and the finish.
Century Farm Woodworking also specializes in equestrian woodworking projects, such as handcrafted tack lockers, tack trunks, dressage arenas and horse jumps with accessories, such as letter boxes and flower boxes.
